PinkHaus Print + Design

These Terms & Conditions apply to quotations, orders and services supplied by PinkHaus Print + Design, including graphic design, commercial printing, signage, labels, stickers, vinyl graphics, installations and online purchases.

By accepting a quotation or placing an order, customers agree to these terms, subject to their rights under applicable South African law.

1. Quotations and Pricing

1. Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

2. Prices are based on the specifications, dimensions, quantities, materials and services requested.

3. Changes to specifications or quantities may result in revised pricing.

4. All quotations are subject to final measurements, material availability and site conditions where applicable.

5. Prices include or exclude delivery, installation and design services as stated in the quotation.

6. Errors and omissions excepted (E&OE). Any pricing corrections will be communicated before proceeding.

2. Payment Terms

1. Orders of R1,000 or less require full payment before production.

2. Orders above R1,000 require a 70% deposit before production.

3. The outstanding balance must be paid before collection, delivery or installation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Production begins once the required payment and artwork approval have been received.

5. Additional services or changes requested after quotation acceptance may be charged separately, subject to customer approval.

3. Artwork and Design Approval

1. Customers must supply suitable, high-resolution artwork unless design services are included.

2. Customers are responsible for checking spelling, dimensions, quantities, logos, colours and other artwork details before final approval.

3. PinkHaus will provide artwork proofs where applicable.

4. Approval of artwork authorises production according to the approved specifications.

5. Changes requested after approval may result in additional charges or revised turnaround times.

6. PinkHaus will take reasonable care during artwork preparation and production. Approval does not remove customers' statutory rights relating to defective or incorrectly supplied goods.

4. Printing and Colour Variations

1. Printed colours may vary from digital screen previews due to screen calibration, printing processes, inks and materials.

2. Minor colour, cutting, positioning and production variations may occur within reasonable industry tolerances.

3. Customers requiring exact colour matching must communicate this before production.

4. Physical samples or printed proofs may be quoted separately where required.

5. Materials and Product Suitability

1. Printing materials are selected according to the intended application and agreed specifications.

2. Material suitability depends on factors including surface condition, sunlight, weather exposure, moisture and cleaning methods.

3. Product durability may vary according to environmental conditions, usage and maintenance.

4. Customers must disclose relevant application requirements before ordering, including outdoor exposure, frequent handling or installation on unusual surfaces.

5. Any specific material or durability warranty must be expressly agreed or provided by the relevant manufacturer.

6. Vinyl Application and Installation

1. Installation services are included only when specified in the quotation.

2. Final measurements and site conditions must be confirmed before manufacturing or installation where necessary.

3. Installation surfaces must be reasonably clean, dry, suitable and accessible.

4. Additional surface preparation, repairs, access equipment or unexpected site requirements may incur charges, subject to customer approval.

5. Installation dates are subject to weather, site access, material availability and applicator scheduling.

6. Where independent installation contractors are used, PinkHaus remains responsible for its obligations to the customer under applicable law.

7. Production and Turnaround Times

1. Estimated production times are provided when quotations or orders are confirmed.

2. Production lead times generally begin after payment requirements, final specifications and artwork approval have been completed.

3. Priority or urgent orders may be accepted subject to production capacity and may incur additional charges agreed in advance.

4. PinkHaus will communicate material changes to agreed delivery or completion dates.

5. Any agreed or legally required delivery deadlines and customer remedies remain applicable.

8. Delivery and Collection

1. Delivery charges are excluded unless stated otherwise.

2. Customers must provide accurate delivery addresses and contact information.

3. Delivery arrangements and costs will be confirmed before dispatch.

4. Customers should inspect products upon receipt and report any problems promptly.

5. Any risk-transfer arrangements remain subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

9. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

1. Many PinkHaus products are custom-made or personalised according to customer specifications.

2. Custom-made goods may be excluded from certain change-of-mind cancellation or cooling-off rights where applicable law permits.

3. Cancellation rights, charges and refunds will be assessed according to the product, production stage and applicable legislation.

4. Defective, incorrectly supplied or non-conforming products will be handled in accordance with applicable South African consumer protection laws.

5. Nothing in these terms limits customers' non-excludable statutory rights.

10. Intellectual Property and Proprietary Rights

1. PinkHaus retains ownership of its existing branding, templates, original concepts, proprietary production materials and other intellectual property, subject to applicable law.

2. Customers retain their rights in logos, trademarks, photographs and artwork supplied to PinkHaus.

3. Customers confirm they have the necessary rights or permission to reproduce materials submitted for printing.

4. Copyright ownership in newly commissioned artwork will be determined by applicable South African copyright law and any written agreement between the parties.

5. Editable design files, source files and working files are supplied only when specifically included in the agreed quotation or design agreement.

6. Any permitted use, licence or transfer of intellectual property rights will be governed by the relevant written agreement and applicable law.

7. PinkHaus reserves the right to decline work that may infringe third-party rights or applicable legislation.

11. Customer Confidentiality and Promotional Use

1. Customer-supplied confidential information will be handled with reasonable care.

2. PinkHaus may request permission to photograph or feature completed projects in its portfolio, website or social media.

3. Confidential materials or identifiable customer-owned branding will not knowingly be used for promotional purposes without appropriate authorisation where required.

12. Online Store Orders

1. Product details, sizes, quantities and prices are displayed on the PinkHaus online store.

2. Personalised products require customers to provide accurate names, specifications or other requested details.

3. Customers must check order details carefully before submission.

4. Order acceptance, payment confirmation, delivery arrangements and applicable cancellation rights are subject to the information provided during checkout and relevant legislation.

13. Liability

PinkHaus will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing its products and services.

Liability for loss, damage, defective products, delay or failure to perform will be determined in accordance with applicable South African law and the circumstances of the transaction.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or customer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. General Conditions

1. PinkHaus reserves the right to decline unlawful work or work that may infringe intellectual property rights.

2. Any agreed amendments to quotations or project specifications should be confirmed in writing.

3. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

4. In the event of any conflict between these terms and mandatory consumer protection legislation, the applicable legislation will prevail.
